how does the neuspeed 1.3 bar compare to the GIAC stage 1.5 in terms of power/performance?

which will give more pull longer. The Neuspeed chip tappers off a little more. Now if your looking for power and have a 2001 there is going to be a new GIAC X chip coming out soon that hits and holds 1.4 bar and then tappers off in the upper rpms. Many people have tested out this chip in their own cars and a few of those are owners of the Neuspeed chip, best thing to do is ask them what the diff is with the new GIAC X chip.

your low end is going to be the same cuz the turbo doesnt kick in for a little bit anyways....

One of the benefits of a nice downpipe is your car winds up faster and also the turbo kicks in a little quicker(lower rpm's)....

so one you have boost if your pushing it the GIAC is gonna give you more boost and taper off, and it'll feel punchy, depending on how you drive, you might like it alot, or it might feel kinda punchy, like some have often said, which is where APR people prefer there, its still pretty smooth...

the neuspeed on the other hand starts out normally pushing 1.0 and 1.1 and the 2001 programming that people are gunning occasionaly boost up to 1.3..... but its very temporary, and if you dont have a nice gauge with memory/warning you'll probably barely see it anyways...

so pre-x chip the neuspeed is really nice programming for the car, plus is steal from the dealer, and you dont have to go tweaking it and such..

but GIAC /garret puts alot more work(im thinking, from what I hear about the two programmers) that the garret has been tweaked and tested and the latest revision just get better..
