How does the SIDEGUARD inflatable Curtain Airbags work?
I'm trying to figure out which way does the A pillar part open up. I put a turbo boost gauge at the bottom of A pillar. Touching the dash. I want to know if it will come flying at the driver or towards the windshield?
Thank you for response.

Wow, what a difference the ARP chip makes.

Someone on the forum did a test, by shorting out the fuse for the side impact airbag. He had the A-pillar gauge mounted there, and he concluded to say that the gauge did not move at all.
From what I have seen the A-pillar bag blows out through the top and the bottom of it remains intact. Ask around, I am sure that many people have seen the post.
