How long.....
can I drive with the MAF disconected. My 2000 1.8t kept throwing system too lean codes as well as random multi mis-fires and I unpluged it and the car runs great (it was in limp mode before and making 6 LBS of boost). I tried to clean it about 6 months ago but it ran the same. I know I need to get a new one but just wanted to know if it is ok to drive. Car has 48000 miles BTW. THX

Its not a good idea....the mass air sensor tells the computer how much fuel to deliver. You could foul your plugs (30 dollars at least), or foul your O2 sensor in your cat (150 at least). Rent a car its not worth the risk.
