How much to replace Windshield(approx.)?

Just moved to Colorado and windshield is already cracked pretty bad. Curious how much it will cost. Thanks.<p>Jack<br>97 2.8QM

just a thought.. check your insu. policy.. mine has a provision for no-fault repairs for a $50 deductible. Just used it.

Approx. $550 at Safelite. Mine was a stone hit; as Conker sez, might be covered under your comprehensive coverage (mine was)

About $500 on mine using a local glass shop that uses only PPG glass...

I trust PPG since I see it more on racecar stickers =) just kidding. Actually had talked to some people and they like PPG also. Paid $100 deductible on mine. After two months with the new glass, a big rock put a nasty hole in it again. Arrgh. Well, glass hasn't cracked yet after 2 years with that hole. It just impairs my passenger vision as it is right in the center of my passenger's straight line vision. Doesn't annoy the driver though he he he
