I was quoted by my dealer that it would be about $450.00 (CDN) for my 2001 1.8T. This would be the minimum. If they were going to replace the water pump also, it would be more. This is not including tax (7%).

HTH.

I wouldn't want to comment on the 2.8. I do know that the interval between the 1.8T is shorter than that of the 2.8.
I'm sure you'll get more responses than mine, though.

Your car looks cooool! I've always liked the older style sport rims.

Default My dealer wanted ~$800. I went with an independant Audi guy

and he charged me $240 for labor. I bought all of the parts from Blaufergneugen!. They have the kit for $199.

Great deal to me....<ul><li><a href="http://www.audiquattroparts.com">http://www.audiquattroparts.com</a</li></ul>

Default My dealer (Richmond, VA) quoted me $1100 for my '99 2.8. . .

That includes the H2O pump, rollers, tensioner kit, etc., etc.

Default That the same quote I got from West Broad Audi (Richmond, VA)

I didn't know until just recently that there were any other Richmond people on here.
