I have some money burning a hole in my pocket and want to do this mod. Is the trimmed area that normally fits under the S4 sideskirts noticeable on an A4? I'm pretty **** about gaps and whatnot. tia

if not bolt it on and trim it to the body it looks fine. if you have a lip as my 97 does. i trimmed as above then cut lip and 2 rear screw area off old liner and glued/bolted it over new liner.

you won't see. it's 1"x1" piece that can easily be removed via dremel, if you want. I left them.

fiancee got them for me for '01 x-mas from a local dealer. I think they were ~$30 each.

I put them on as is and could not tell them from A4 liners.

i bolted the back bolts to secure the liner.

Oh, and before i bolted it back, i used a box cutter knife to trim down the edges a bit and it looks pretty stock imho.

forget the cut and glue methods described in the faq.
