Default there are more than enough IMs and e-mails logged. He uses AOL

The key is finding a law enforcement officer or agency willing to take on the case.

Default Call the FBI

If enough people have gotten scammed and the aggregate amount is enough, they'll investigate it and show up at the guy's door. If not, they'll still take all the info (and if the aggregate amount reaches their threshold in the future, they'll investigate) and refer the case to the computer fraud department of the police in the guy's hometown. Don't just whine about it here. Report it so the cops will shut his a$$ down.

Default Have same issue with EurAsian Auto Parts

FBI and their local police in Colorado are all over them now. They probably wish they'd just returned my $$$. At this juncture, I'm just trying to make sure the owner goes to jail (which seems likely since they sent me a large bad check in addition to other silliness).

Don't give up. Call the heat. That's what they're there for and your tax $$$ pay for them.

Cheers,

Default Contact Sgt. Crouch...

Sgt. Crouch at 817-459-5626, or crouchj@ci.arlington.tx.us

He's been handling stuff for a few of us here! He said there's a few cases in front of this one and they have to be handled in the order they are received. He said when he comes down, he will come down hard!!! These are serious charges! Mail fraud is a federal offense! This is my only hope...
