Hubcap question (no response in other forum)

If I buy 15" steel wheels and don't like the $25 hubcap options sold at Tirerack can I put
any old plastic hubcap on there? Target sells a number of "Car and Driver" hubcaps
for less than $25. Anyone?

i beleive hubcaps are interchangable provided they are for the correct wheel size...
