I bought my new Audi A4 1.8T
I was impressed with the fact that there are more mods and that they are cheaper for the 1.8T and was dissapointed that there are less mods for the 2.8 and they are more expensive.
One problemo though. I'm somewhat of a beginner when it comes to driving with a stick/MT. So far i've stalled it around 10 times within the past 2 days of ownership. Of course my footwork is improving and i am shifting a lot faster, but every now and then i forget that i am driving a manual and not a freaking automatic.
Other than that the car is in perfect condition, it runs smoothly, etc.
One question, when i am pressing the gas i hear the whir of the motor but i also hear a strange sound, possibly coming from the turbo, it's like a high pitched air compressed sound, like the car is breathing, or like it has an air intake. Anyone know what that is?
Anyone have any advice on driving manual tran?

when you feel your about to stall step on the clutch and give a little gas....
for the first 1000 miles "im assuming its a new car" dont rev it up past 4000rpm, practice on gas and clutch compensation on take offs(dont ride the clutch either)pssst psssstt thats your turbo buddy. congrats on the new ride.
