Default I can haz bumper and flarez? Work on the Mazdog is just about done.....

What a pain in the *** it was to make all the bracketry and mounting locations to mount up this front end. Oh, well....after a bunch of 4AM nights and quite a few beers it's done.

I'm rolling it in the booth for primer on Saturday. Finally.....remember, this started out as a simple sand and spray......4 months later, I have another custom......haha....I suck.

I am pulling off the front flares and valance, not priming the plastics. The rear flares are not "on" the truck in the pics......because once they are on, they ain't coming back off without breaking them. But the holes are drilled and they fit well. Drilling the holes in the bedsides took alot of time too........heh, there was alot of measuring involved there.

Here's a few pics.

I'm very happy about how well the gaps look on these junk Chinese hong-kong fooey parts. it took alot of aggrevation....and beer for that to happen.

I also completely re-did the tailgate. It had a little warpage.....just a little dipsy-doo and it pissed me off so I took the grinder to it. **** is perfect meow.

I also decided on colors(for sure this time!). Took a trip to my local paint shop and looked throughout the catalog, and spoke with Yoda(well, and old time painter).....Santorin blue on bottom, Light silver met on top(Ly7w) and Lamborghini orange 1" stripe in the bodyline.

What do you guys think on the color combo? perhaps a different silver(darker?)

Default Thanks Chris! Appreciate the opinion, I'm sure just about any silver would turn out okay though

My rate for bodywork is uber high if it's something I don't want to do(ie:....collision work)....be careful! So what are we shaving?

j/k....If you seriously need help, LMK....I'd be glad to lend a hand.
