And if real... how about clearing it?

Default i assume he means rpm's. is that redlining a stock for more than a moment , or ....
or is it only a concern for chipped? (do them chips override rev limiter on the ecu?)

Default oh sorry once you hit 6800 rpms.... in 5th gear.. it happens...
and that is for stock... a little higher when chipped if you can hit it... i believe the rev limiter is bumped up to about 7k

nah.... its in 5th.. i highly doubt in 4th gear... cause you wouldnt hit the max speed...

Default This has nothing to do with your vehicle speed. It is ENGINE SPEED. This is the "overrev" DTC.
Like, shifting from 3rd to 2nd instead of 4th (at lik e 80mph).... basically meaning you overrev'd your engine

you cannot clear this DTC, I don't think.
