Default I got my TT225 3" maf in my airbox. Question inside.
The stock cone doesnt fit on the end of the maf. Is it really necessary to have a cone on there? I might be able to shape one out, out of thin metal stuff. But Im lazy lol. I drove the car and it seems alright so far. TIA

Default it's nice to have one.....
it helps straighten out the air flow so you get more stable maf output.
