I got my Yokohoma AVS Sport tire from EdgeRacing...it doesn't look new! :( Looks kinda dry...WHY?

I got my Yokohoma AVS Sport tire from EdgeRacing...it doesn't look new! :( Looks kinda dry...WHY?
Is this normal? Shouldn't the new tire be nice and black? And there is some copper colored glitter on it, very weird...what should I do? Send it back? (It's for a spare, so I don't need the tire just yet...)

i think it's pretty normal. Only reason why tires look as dark as they do on cars is usually becaus
e they have been treated to give that finish. So long as you can tell the tread is unused you'll be fine.
