I have a concert headunit, can an aftermarket headunit drive the stock speakers? Thanks.

Most aftermarket HU's should have more power than the stock HU (m)
but if you're really looking for the best improvement in sound, I would buy a new set of speakers (even cheap aftermarket ones will be better than the stock ones) and a good 4 channel amp first. The concert provides clean enough sound to make the speakers sound good when amplified. I'm running an Xtant amp and boston acoustics speakers and they sound great. A Sony HU will probably be my next upgrade, but it will be mostly aesthetic.

I didn't install them myself. Got them through soundtrack.
I'm not sure if there's modification required. One thing though, while these are hyperaccurate and sound really great, they will leave you wanting a subwoofer. These are not bass-oriented sony x-plods or anything like that. They really need a sub (or at least something like the Basslink) to complete the sound.
