I have to replace my OEM 6 disc changer. Will sound quality suffer if I buy cheap.

Default I have to replace my OEM 6 disc changer. Will sound quality suffer if I buy cheap.
I see the cheaper versions on auto toys, I think they are made by audiovox. I don't want to pay $300 to replace it but I will if I would be getting a POS by skimping on the price. suggestions would be appriciated.

Default What makes you think Audiovox will work with your OEM head unit? ...
check with www.800allaudi.com - they used to have good prices on the OEM changers - under $200.

Autotoys has mp3 disc changers (for my a4) for about $350.
