well.. lets say if i get the engine, u think my tranny and differentials would be able to take the output from the engine?? of course clutch will be changed according to RS4 specs.. but tranny, 3 differentials and bearing hubs will remain the stock format.. i have 1996 A4 Q with 2.8 12 valve + 5spd tranny.. (I'll have about Can $15,000 or about US $ 10,000 to spend - money from my coop and another job.. i am a final year student) What u think??? Please share as i know everyone here is experts or have modded their cars. (mine is complete stock now) or may be give me a better advice than what i plan to do. thanks.

if you are going to do something that expensive, don't do it half-assed.

Change the tranny and everything else, you iwll need a new suspension too because of the added weight of the 2.7. It's going to be a lot of parts and a lot of labor. But really, don't do something half-assed, it's kinda pointless.
