Default I know this has been asked about a billion times but i'm trying to figure out which tires to buy

I have stock rims (which I'm keeping for now) and stock non sport suspension, which I plan on upgrading this summer. I live most of the year up in Binghamton, NY which gets a lot of foul weather and live on Long Island the rest of the year. I mostly do normal/somewhat spirited driving and just want an all around good performance tire that is good in the rain as well. I was looking into the S-03 pole positions because I've heard nothing but good things, but they are kind of expensive compared to kumhos and nittos. I've also read that the kumhos are noisy. I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Default think about what size you are going to go first..

if you are using the 16s that you have.. dont go with s03s its a waste of money.. im guessing you are definately looking for an all season tire... you might want to look into something else

Default dont see why not.. but then again... i would stick with what came with the car..

if you are staying with the 16s.. cause 235s might rub unless you are going a different offset.

Default Okay, so do you need a tire with ANY snow capability???

A LOT of snow capability?? A little?? None? What? That's going to drive your decision. If you live in Binghamton, and you don't want to run separate snow tires, and you don't have the luxury of parking your car everytime a snowflake hits the ground, S03's and many other tires will not work.

The next question is what is your budget. For example, in a 225-45-17 tire, prices range from about $100 to well over $200/tire. Multiply by 4, and you're talking about a huge price differential.
