i plan to purchase axis kaiser 17" rims next monday, at the same time i am considering an eibach drop also, should i change my stock sport shocks also?

What I understand is.....
the OEM sports shocks used with aftermarket lowering springs causes the shocks to rest in a permanently compressed position. I think someone said that this will cause the shocks to wear out quickly. I'm not sure about all this though.<p>Mike
