Default I posted this yesterday but..........need answers.........

Does anyone suggest the neuspeed chip for a 2.8. From what I have heard u can get 10-15 hp gain compared to just a 10 hp gain from giac which seems to be the favorite around here. Please help me out. And where to get either one in the midwest?
thanks

Default Do a search on GIAC/Neuspeed/Upsolute....

there have been many discussions as to what chip is the best for the 2.8.

Here is my quick take on it :
1.Upsolute claims 18+ hp, if this is so than why aren't they selling to anyone on this forum. I inquired about getting one but they seem to be catering towards VW and the European market. I also contacted two local distributors who never responded to me. I have no Upsolute friendly tuners in my area, threrefore - I did not persue it.
2. Neuspeed claims 10-15. I don't know too much about this chip but why is the gain somewere between 10-15?
3. GIAC states 10hp gain. I spoke to Garrett Lim while he put the chip in my car. He was saying that his R&D have squeezed every bit of power out of the 30v engine. Wouldn't you agree that if there were a possiblity of more than 10hp GIAC would be working on it. GIAC is the biggest of the three and offers free software updates too!!
