Default I raced a '99-'00 (?) Integra (Not R-Type, I think...) - Long

On my way to my hockey game, going down Western in Torrance... At the light, a red Integra w/ a couple in it pulled up... Light changed and we were kinda just going slow, but I decided to start stepping and my car quickly pulled 1-2 cars length. He noticed and started gunning and I see in my side mirror that he was about to catch up, and his car was loud... By this time we were doing about 80 and I finally decided to let go the gas and he just kept on reving and going... I'm not sure what he's got except the obvious exhaust (Possibly a Neuspeed), but I believe the Integra was just as fast as my stage uno A4, maybe eventually he was gonna pass me... but of course, his car is lighter with two people that couldn't have weight more than 150 each... and I had my friend and both of our hockey gears (40lbs) in a heavier ride... I want a rematch... BTW can a chipped A4 hang with an Integra, stock or possibly chipped?

Default It's not a Type R, they don't come in red...

I would thin chip A4 would be able to keep up with a teg, stock.

Default Type R came in red in

Australia, Europe and I think Canada. Not 100% on the Canada though. Type-R = 14.6 stock qtr and chipped a4 = 15.3. Stock GS-R = 15.3.

Default wife had an integra...although it was quite peppy and angile...my chipped A4 could take it any day

unless it was 100 degrees....where i noticed the huge difference was on the turns...A4 qms would eat it up...example, totally different car though, last week a 'stang was tail'in my ***, just being a jerk, had his brights on me and try'in to start something....well to make it short, i took him thru two 90 degree turns on slightly wet pavement...downshifting from 4th to 3rd to 2nd and accelerated hard at the apex, broke traction slightly...boost came on when i just about straightened out, looked up he was 5-6 car lenghths behind...he was on my *** just before the turn, now he's way behind, did the samething on next turn, looked up and he's bout 10-12 lenghths behind...i think he gave up, cause he was getting further behind...and he had a mustang gt....well, he asked for it...he was lucky that he didn't end up in a ditch at the top of the turn....you think he was humbled? QUATTRO BABY!!!

Default Western is pretty much a straight road... I wish this took place in some twisties...

I think I just did a bad job shifting... I was shifting at around 5-6k, but at one point in 3rd, I felt the car not wanting to pick up speed, at least not as fast as I would've liked...

Default twisties are fun....my friend raced a riced out integra thru park presidio in san fran. in golden

gate park..friend executed perfectly thru the turns and managed to cut in from outside lane to inside lane on turn while accelerating hard thru it, so tegra is now on the outside as friend passes him going 90+ mph..tegra' loses traction and takes out lamp post on the side of the road...
