I was in NJ on business and stopped by to see Tony and Mike at PES. I got a good glimpse of the Passat 1.8 with most of the supercharger kit in place. Wow! It looked really neat. I think that if it makes the power they hope it will make, people will be very happy with the kit. The fit in the 1.8 engine bay isn't nearly as tight as with the 2.8. The supercharger fits in quite nicely. They pretty much plug the coolant and oil lines that once led to the turbo. You'd never even know they were there! An aluminum header replaces the stock exhaust manifold which once fed the turbo. They are hoping to bring the supercharged Passat to the Northeast A4 Group "Aftermarket Performance" event.<p>See you all there!<br>Mike<ul><li><a href="http://www.mck.com/a4">Northeast A4 Group June 6th Event Details</a></li></ul>
