They look real good on dark cars (black, santorin, etc) but after seeing the clear-cornered silver S4, I decided not to do the clear corner mod on my melange A4. The orange insert kinda compliments the gold tinge I have on melange that I think it gives it personality. I think orange inserts should be left alone on all yellow, red, silver, melange, and india red cars. Because of this, I'm putting together a mod for all those who have these colors and have hastily gone ahead and removed their orange inserts without really thinking twice about it. Disclaimer: do at your own risk and direct all questions to the author.

Orange insert replacement mod

1. Gather up as much of the little pieces of orange plastic as you can.
2. Piece them together like a puzzle (this may take a while so have beer in hand)
3. Use a generous amount of glue
4. Stick it in
5. Clean up excess glue and polish to high shine
6. You are done. It may not look like it was originally.

Ok enough... it figures that I've got nothing better to do on a saturday afternoon than look at my car if I'm not driving it. It's my prelude to getting real hammered tonight <p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/larryvsig.jpg">
