I think I need to adjust my Euro HIDs -- road rage story enclosed

Peter, autoleveling won't help you.
The problem with the Euros (even with halogens) is the ultra sharp beam cutoff. Either you're in the focused area of the projection pattern, or you're not. The US spec headlamps diffuse the light a little bit. So you don't get that "flashing" effect. This is one of the reasons I haven't swapped over to the Euros. The only way around this issue is to switch back to US spec with the stepped projector.
The right side headlamp also focuses light upward. I've heard here that you can remove s "restrictor plate" on the US spec lamp and install it on the Euro to level out the projection pattern.
I suppose in Europe people are just used to this sort of thing...but here, people pull out guns when they get angry. I **** enough people off with my driving, I don't need to have to deal more crap, so I've left the lights alone. For me, the stock xenons project more than enough light to keep me happy.

You've got a very responsible and mature attitude, Pete...WTF are you doing here?!
I've seen several posts here in which people say 'Oncoming drivers flash their lights at me...don't they understand I'm driving a cool car with expensive xenons? How can I get revenge?' And people on these boards actually make suggestions on how to **** off other drivers even worse. Then we complain about road rage!
By adjusting your lights to a level where they won't annoy other drivers you're making the road safer for everyone. Just like when you resisted the temptation (and I know it was there) to mess with the driver who was tailgating you.
Seriously, Pete, my hat's off to you.

Adjusting....
If memory serves, get the car on level ground 25ft from a wall, garage door, etc. Measure the height from the ground to the center of your projector lens. Put this measurement on the wall. Measure 3 inches (I think) down from that on the wall, and that's where the cutoff (lower-half) should be. The highs should hit your measurement directly.
