Default right i just cant figure out how to go about this...Im still newb audi tech.

I think that I have located the SAI. Front very bottom pass side almost in front of the wheel.
So far I see one main large plug going straight into the bottom.
Has anyone pulled thier SAI before?
Search results are not giving me any detail about how to disconnect the power.
I guess the car can be ran without it without any harm. Does that sound right?
One topic about the same issue says to pull the SAP fuse 40 amp but will not say where to find it.

Default was thinking that too. My sedan seems to run even in the winter; read the conditions

once on temps it stays on and how long, etc. But the thing I recall most is that the max time was 10min before it went off for good.

Default here it says the *pump* is only on DBW cars? HUH?

<A HREF="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2447934.phtml">Doesn't have too much info overall though...</A>

I'm pretty certain that my 98.5 has a SAI pump, no?

Just disconnect the battery if you need to keep it simple

Default I know my ECU sometimes switches on the SAI when I stop at a red light

Guess ECU has determined that the catalytic converter needs more oxygen fast!

Mine does that too, and it seems somewhat random.
