Default If you didn't DIY suspension install, how much did you pay for install?

I got a quote from Autothority in VA and the told me: $464.10 suspension install (6 hours)
and alignment additional $193.38..
So that's $657.48, damn! Should I shop around or does that sound about right?? TIA

Man, I wish I knew someone who could hook me up with a better deal! I need to be friends with some mechanics

Default Just for reference...

I had my suspension install done for $160 (great price no doubt) but I hear that $200 to $300 is a good deal. I'd say 4-wheel alignments should be $80 tops.

I got my alignment for $75 at a place in NJ called Eurotire.

Default Where in NJ

I'm in NJ and just order new suspension components I'm looking to have installed. I'm in Monmouth Co. (Red Bank area) and would like to know of an expensive, quality shop. Thanks.

Default haha, hey Phil, I think you meant inexpensive. :-)

As for the shop. I used C&G in Verona (North Jersey). It's off I-280. I'm having them install my exhaust this Saturday. :-)

It's a small shop that deals with a lot of german cars (mainly Mercedes). They have ties with Avalon Motorsports.

If you want give Rosario a call. (973)239-9726. He's a good guy. Just be sure to tell him how you want the perches set.

I then used Eurotire off Route 46 in Fairfield for the 4 wheel alignment. The guy doing the alignment was cool too.

Default I hear you...

The money I saved on these guys are going towards a f%$&%#@ing windshield crack. It looks like it's going to cost me 5 bills. :-(
