IM still very confused about the ko4 kit!! Can someone clarify this for me???

Lucky you,you have the best year for tuning
Great year car, and non-DBW to boot, mine is a 2k so the current K04 software is not great thus the overboost to 25psi,however they are now working on a newer version...your years software is rock solid though...
Depends on where you live dude,AWE is good.
I'd recommend my tuner Matrix Engineering in Portland,they are really good GIAC,with good prices and service,give them a call and they will tell you what you need to know...tell them I told u to call here is their website...<ul><li><a href="http://www.matrixengineering.cc">http://www.matrixengineering.cc</a</li></ul>
