Info on Ignition Amplifier/ Power Output Stage (P/N)
Hi everyone,
I just had my Ignition Amplifier(Power Output Stage) go out on me so I've been searching high and low for info on it. Here's what I've found:
Audi/VW P/N: 4D0905351 / 400905351 / 8D0905351
Bosch P/N: 0227100211 / 0227100212
Hitachi P/N: DIS408
Wells P/N: RB1010 ( $160 special order at http://www.autozone.com)
GP Sorensen: 115420
Beru P/N: F6000-87906 ($140 at http://www.thepartsbin.com)
Keep in mind that I have not tried these different parts in my own vehicle. From what I've seen, the cheapest is from http://www.importpartsauthority.com/ at $115 (VW073566)
What sucks is that nobody delivers on the weekend and I really need my car...
I've got a dealership a block away, but the part dept is closed till Monday 7:30am... what to do, what to do???
Anyone know if these things are rebuildable?

Alright, so I call a few Audi dealerships this morning to see if they got this part, guess what, they dont... Advance Auto Parts has it, but Audi doesn't? How does that make sense!? I would get the one from advance but it's like 300 bucks... So I ended up ordering from importpartsauthority, with express shipping it came to $145, which is still 40 bucks cheaper than the stealership! Hopefully I'll get it today and get my baby back on the road...
