installed Alpine x200 + rear speakers = really better sound now
Hi guys,
This post is just a kind of follow-up.
Finally I have installed Alpine x200 head unit (see the link below) instead of Symphony II and also replaced rear stock speakers with coaxial 6-1/2" Alpine SPS-600.
The sound is really better but apparently there is still some lack of "depth" and bass.
I am going to replace front speakers and add 4ch amplifier and I guess it will complete my audio upgrade. Thinking about adding components 5-1/4" + 1" tweeters into the front and Alpine PDX-4.100 or MRP-F600 amp. Not sure why but getting to stick to Alpine brand
Special thanks to Nate and Pelican Pete for precious comments and suggestions!

I would comment that unfortunately Alpine x200 has red/blue illumination that does not mean red OR blue but red AND blue.
So the unit does not really match perfectly (it just matches to the TomTom illumination at night ).
Anyway, I am pretty satisfied with the result.
Thanks again, folks!

you are lacking "depth and bass" as you put it because you removed your rear
speakers which are single cone woofers that supplied 90% of the bass the system had and replaced them with coax's which cant provide the same. pdx is a great amp and the head unit is also really nice, i thought one of those series could display all red the x100 maybe??
