Installed Bilstein shocks a month ago and I hate them.
For the past month I thought I had a bent wheel, out out of balance wheel, misalignment, improper tire pressure, you name it. All because I wasn't used to the stiffness of the Bilstein shocks. I had all that other stuff I mentioned above checked and corrected and the car handles great! But I just commute to work everyday and act up every once in a while and I think these shocks are way too stiff. I feel like I'm driving a 7000lb Mac Truck not a refined Audi. I expected to feel the road more but these things don't even feel like I have shocks and springs.
Is there something I can do to get these softened up a bit? Or should I just bite the bullet and get another shock set like the Koni's?

hmm are you running H&R race?
how far do you have the car down. When you lower that thing evrything almost has to be that stiff. Take a ride in other folks cars if you can. The only time you may find a problem is if your FWD like me. Btw, where are you?

Re: maybe he likes to haul a$$ around the circular on and off ramps
The reason I lowered the car was for handling and to reduce the gap with the new wheels. But even one of my local installers told me that the Bilsteins are too stiff for most peoples tast that he does. I'm not a race car driver but I do go get my quarter mile times so I like to drive. But I also like to listen to CD's with out skiping all the d*mn time.

Let's trade shocks. I just bought a new OEM sport suspension from Clair and the shocks are too...
soft. I now regret not getting the Bilsteins. The OEM sport shocks are pure luxury in city driving but can get overpowered when driving fast down twisty back roads.
