installing an arm rest, looking for FAQ

I just got an arm rest from a salvaged A4 and looking to get this installed on my '97 1.8T A4. Just for fun I called the local Audi dealer about doing it, and they acted like I was planning on undergoing a MAJOR project (the seats would need to be removed, etc..). If my memory serves me well, I don't think that was the case.

Does anyone have the link to the FAQ? And lastly, any idea on what bolts I would need?

that's funny

I hope I don't come to hate mine. I actually am getting sick of having nowhere to put my right arm. I'm either holding the parking brake or grabbing at the passenger seat.
