Interested in a one-day Russell Racing Driving Class? (read inside)
Quick Survey...who in NorCal would be interested in attending a mid-week (not weekend) High Performance Driving Course at Sears Point Raceway, taught by the Russell Racing staff? You would use your own A4, not their cars. The discounted cost would be approximately $550-575 (this is an estimate)...with the regular price being $675 (for the day). I did this survey a month or so ago...but the thread got corrupted and deleted, and therefore is not in the archives. We need at least 12 people to do the class (13 is probably the maximum)
So far I have:
1) Steve S. (me)
2) Corey Smith
3) Johannes Erdfelt
4) Stan Jirman
5) Dan Kelmenson
6) Gary L
7) Paul N (Nelson?)
8) Sean Griffin
Who else is interested? Again, this class is taught by REAL full-time instructors...not ex-SCCA racers that sometimes lend a hand. You would get some time in the skid car, the lane toss exercise, the mini oval....the straightaway (practicing heel/toe)...and of course... the track.
Only post if you are 99.5% sure that you are interested. We are thinking that we would do this in August or September.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
NorCal A4 Owners Club

NorCal A4 Owners Club Website

Steve -- I might be out there...
... if this would be around the time of Monterey (plus or minus a week or so?). My Dad lives on the left coast, so spending additional time out there would be much less of an issue than it would be out East. If you think you can hit that window (within a week or ten days of Monterey either way) email me (you should have my email, if not it's on this post) and I'll clear my schedule. Sounds like a great plan for an event.
Cameron
