Interior Cleaning & Care Q
My apologies if there's an FAQ for this subject that I haven't run into yet, but can anyone give me some insight on what to use/what not to use on the interior (seats, dash, trim, etc.)?
Thanks!

Honestly, I don't do much.
For the dash, a damp cloth as needed, but usually just a Swifter dusting cloth to pick up lint/dust. Same for seats and console. Be careful with the instrument cluster and radio displays...swifter will scratch these. Just use a damp cloth or one of those towlettes used for computer computer monitors.
Carpets...just a vacuum (I used the Audi all weather mats, so my carpets stay pretty clean.
Some will recommend Vinylex. I have it and use it on the exterior, but I don't like the greasy/shiny feel it leaves, so I won't use it on the interior.

Varied history and responses...
I think you will find all kinds of responses from people here. Each has their own products or ideas - I use Lexol products for vinyl and leather cleaning, as well as Sonax cloth and carpet cleaner for cloth seats and carpets.

Re: Honestly, I don't do much.
Thanks all. That black interior's tough to keep clean! Only had the car for a couple of weeks, but I love it. Already itching to chip it though....
