The newstand copy of AutoCar has a short article on the interior of the next generation A4. Apparently Dr. Piech himself was closely involved in approving the new interior. He rejected a couple of full size designs. In any case, the new interior has been finally approved. The article doesn't elaborate about the style, but says that it will set the standard. The new A4 may still be shown at the Paris Auto Show. It is set for European introduction in Spring 2001 as a 2002 model. Also on deck for Audi will be the A8 W12 (I assume with the current body).
