Default It's a miracle!

My timing belt broke the other day. It was from a "broken bolt" from an "unidentified source". In searching the forum, I remember someone else had the same experience, and had a picture of the bolt getting stuck, and of course the TB was shredded. Well, my mechanic got a new timing belt back on, and then the car started up right away without any problem! He drove the car around and it ran strong and smooth! Did I luck out or what!!!! My mechanic said that he has seen plenty of Audi/VW TB breakage, and this is the first time that he's seen a Tb breakage without noticible damage! I suppose this explain why I didn't hear any metal-to-metal sound initially.

Well, While I'm in there, I had the water pump, all pulley and bearing changed again... just in case...

Good idea... I will check the compressions. Anything else?
