Default just dave, others.... can these cracks be sanded out? can stone chips be sanded out?

I'd like to have my bumper cover repainted, set it aside for a month+, then apply StonGard -- all while wearing my ghetto raccoon damaged bumper cover.

Will all of the chips and cracks get sanded out, so that when it gets repainted, it's looks perfect or damn near it???? The body shop who did a crappy job is willing to repaint it, but they're telling me the cracks and chips won't come out.

Default you have to sand it down, fill it with putty, sand that down, apply...

primer, paint it, clear coat it, tape off the car, clean it a bunch of times, buff it, seal it, etc etc etc, and by then you have a nice little repair bill sitting there for such a minor detail
