just did the zip tie mod on my UUC and tried to instlal the AWE cartridge bearings

Default just did the zip tie mod on my UUC and tried to instlal the AWE cartridge bearings

The zip tie mod is worth it. The up and down slop is now completely gone. The side to side slop is lessened. The overall feel is better, more solid and precise. It's still not as good as a Neuspeed SS, but it will do.

As far as teh AWE cartridge bearing go....they are too small. I have a feeling they are for an S4 since the S4 has smaller holes at the linkage. So that was a bust. Oh well. I don't think they would have dome much anyway. I'll give them to an S4 owner who wants to try them out.
