Default Just finished my K04 install!

Coolant supply line made the job frustrating, but so far no leaks and everything looks good. just took a quick ride in "stock" mode and it sounds much meaner than the k03. I'll let it break in a bit and then try the 93 programming. AWE/Giac required that my ecu have 3 programs so there is stock, 93, 100.

Default Now come by and finish mine. After injuring my finger 2 weeks ago I haven't gotten much done on it..

I had to wait until the stiches out (3 days ago) before I could even start thinking about it. Today I only had an hour to work on it. So, all I was able to complete was bolting in the ATP mani to the head and to the turbo. Still has to be properly torqued down. But that has to wait for now. The exhaust needs to be finished and nearly everything in the engine bay. However the coolant lines and oil lines are hooked up to the turbo.

i'm not sure what was the worst, either doing the turbo or back when i did the bilstein sport/ vogtlands with old junky spring compressors.

Default I've done suspensions on my previous cars. I vote this mani back worse...

mainly because of the injury, the cold (chicago), and limited amount of time. Everything was going so well the day I started until the exhaust mani gasket (between the head and the mani) right after I fed the oil line down I got my finger caught on that gasket and slashed my middle finger down to the bone about the size of a nickel. I think by Wednesday I should have the time to finish the car. Not really that much left to do. (famous last words)

Default Same here, just installed a rebuilt turbo and I am cut up as well.

Everything went well until I struggled with the bolt from hell(turbo support bracket bolt). I got cut up taking it out and putting a new one in, LOL. Now my hands are stained from black ground in grease and I have cuts up and down my arms, including hands. It will take a week or so to heal I guess. Oh...and my back hurts incredibly from terrible positioning under the car. I guess my A4 owns me at this point.
