Just got my X Chip....
Installed it on my lunch break 
. OK, only driven about 15 mins..... had to get back to work. From what I noticed from the APR chip is the low end torque on the GIAC which pull's all the way to redline...NICE. I'll post l8tr when I have driven more time on the car.
Mike[1.8tq] do you what performance program was written on your paper from AWE?

I seriously would like to see a boost guage readout..
Not that I doubt what the Xchip is capable of doing.. but I am curious to see how this '01 turbo differs from the pre '01 K03.
If, in fact, it does maintain a constant boost (22psi) to redline - it may mean: more agressive fan pitch - like the K04, or bigger outlet - like the K04.

umm, you must be confused,
stock my car was making a peak hold at 9psi in 2-5th. with the X I am making a hold of 20psi in 2-5th gears. It does NOT hold 20psi all the way to red line, that would be ridiculous and not possible.
also, the k04 does not even make that much power(boost) to redline...it tapers off just the same.
and I would assume that the GT25 and T28 also fase off (boost) around 5700-5900rpm, well shy of the 7100 rpm red line

actually.. the gt25 pulls all the way to 7.3k rpm. i assume the same for the t28 as well.
no fade .. no taper .. nada. it would probably pull higher if the engine would rev.
and 20psi on the k03 is quite a bit. hrm.
