What should I do before I put them on? Wax them? any other good techniques to help them stay clean?

a good wax will certainly help. That's if they are painted and clear coated.

They sell wheel wax that you can use. Some people use regular wax as well. It'll help keep it clean and easier to clean.

Also, when cleaning the wheels, don't use any chemicals that weren't designed to be used on the wheels. I would typically just recommend using some soap and water to clean the wheels. I've seen a set of BBS LMs get discoloration on the face because the previous owner used the wrong chemicals to clean the wheels.

Awesome! did you get spacers or just going on first without?

Wheels didn't fit without spacers. BUMMER! i didn't want to have to get spacers. I eventually sold the wheels and tires and got my money back. I was lucky. I'm just going to save up to buy a new A4 in a couple years.
