just installed boost gauge. only reading 10 psi =(

just installed boost gauge. only reading 10 psi =(
i can hear air leaking when i floor it. how can i find the leak? it's tapped at the fpr too. is it damaging my engine even without boost? also, i hooked it up to the 75x connector and it lights up even when the lights aren't on. anyone know where i can put it so it only turns on with the lights? thanks.

75x is a key power not powered by the lights.
Your light wire is behind the driverside kick panel or get it from the dash vent lights.
If you get it from the kick panel it will be the very center row of plugs at the first plug and it is a green wire.
Aslo you want to move your tap for the vac line to the one on the front of the intake manifold.
