Just installed Strat SS with Rob **** 2.......
I was very suprised at how short the throws are now. VERY SHORT. Literally "flick of the wrist". Love the way the RK2 feels in my hand. But, so far i've been told to keep a towel handy for those really hot days (to use to shift when the aluminum **** heats up). The "notchy-ness" felt with the stock shifter is gone. You're in 3rd, (pull down a bit) and BOOM, you're in 4th. Very nice. I would recomend the combo.
ps- I had a UUC SS on my 2000 passat, but the throw on that wasn't nearly as short as the Strat SS.
