Default This just keeps getting worse and worse... alignment...

Ok, pretty much no one read my last post about how someone bashed my car... but I discovered something else today... it looks like my alignment is all f'ed up! It appears someone hit my tire with their bumper fairly hard, the end of the bumper dented the fender behind the driver side wheel well. While I was at work today I noticed that the top of my driver side front tire is tilted in slightly, which accounted for the weird pulling to the right I felt today... my question is, is this an alignment problem, or something worse? TIA!

Default It's a four-link system, so I would guess one of the upper arms could be bent or....

possibly the top of the strut got pushed in.

I'm not totally sure what that means, but it sounds expensive.

Default It means there are four suspension points....

I think the four points are:
lower control arm
strut top
upper control arms (two)

Moving/bending any of these points will affect your alignment.

Default Actually, there are 4 individual control arms. 2 upper, 2 lower.

The shocks in the front do not bear any side loading like a MacPherson strut. If anything is bent, it is likely the uppers, they are deisgned to be the "weak link" in crashes.
