Default Just ran some logs on the FXK04 kit. What do you think?

I've never really ran logs before, so I'm not quite sure how to interpret it. Looking for some feedback here.

From the looks of it, my act boost is low, but my boost gauge is reading 17-19 psi at WOT. Didn't get the chance to run some lamba spec vs. act.

75 deg F ambient temp.
28-30 deg C IAT sustained at WOT.
80-81 deg C coolant temp sustained at WOT.
91 craptane with some misfire detected in cyl 1.

Anyone know the MAX g/s the TT MAF is supposed to flow? Best of three runs, MAX g/s the car could muster is 148.19 g/s.

g/s is probably fine if GIAC didn't update the maf lookup tables to account for the larger MAF

Hmm, my stock MAF and chipped K03 peak flow 172 g/s (IIRC) when I logged last time.

I wondered about that. Wasn't sure what to make it of it seeing my chipped g/s was higher.

Default doing a rough estimate, you would be reading ~190g/s on a stock housing

seems fine to me for the amount of boost you're running, but again make sure with Jeff Moss that the values weren't updated. IIRC looking at some PES T28 logs the maf voltage to g/s tables were the same as stock.

Dam. I wished I kept a log of the MAF voltage before the upgrade to compare.

Default I really do need to redo my intake setup. =P

A cone filter stuffed into the stock airbox just isn't working.

Default I'm piecing together the parts for the FX set-up- now...

and wanted to know how you guys are doing your intake set-ups? I have Samco TIP..and was going to try reducers to that from MAF, and from cone to MAF. I was thinking of some short aluminum or PVC tubing to use as interconnects? I have the Evo intake...so I'll probably end up having to remove that heat shield to allow the tubing to move because of the additional lengths needed.

some say they got the Samco hose to fit directly on the TT MAF, so I guess I could always try that??

Default Right now, my ricerific intake is set up like this:

OEM TIP stretched over the TT MAF with a cone filter at the end stuffed into a hacked up OEM airbox.

My APR TIP could not stretch over the MAF and I doubt the samco will fair any better. At this time, reducers may be the only option.

I'm still working on an intake solution.
