I have no problem with my K&N, just don't over oil it and you shouldn't have a problem.

Default Google up some Audi and K&N testing first.

The factory airbbox and filter are hard to improve upon. There have been plenty of people who have destroyed their MAF's with K&N filters. some tests show slightly better flow with K&N, but poorer filtration.

Because the stock box is so good, the K&N is a waste of money and a risk, IMHO.
