k04 update: giac chipped ecu in today
picked up my giac k04 pc-16 chipped ecu today. got a great deal.
since i don't have a fmic, exhaust, or bigger injectors on my 97 aeb, i'm going to tyrolsport to downgrade the chip to the std k04 giac file ($30) and adding a 5 bar fpr.
anyone have a std k04 giac chip that wants an upgrade pc-16? we could work something out, but let me know asap since i'm planning on going to tyrol sometime this wk.

You're not the one who by chance bought my ECU, PC16 spare chip, Samco, DV and filter are you?
I have no idea if the guy frequents the boards here or not as he seemed to find the sale post on AudiZine....

Nevermind, I see you don't have injectors... I sold mine w/inj so sorry to bother you. ;)
I'd still say hold out and swap w/someone... seems a shame to downgrade it when so many people want to upgrade.
