Default Last attempt to solve this ^*&#$*@# problem. Please advise, last time.

This hesistation thing. My coils are fine. ICM is fine. Ive had them checked. I changed the plugs. Cleaned the injectors. MAF threw a code so I just replaced it. o2 sensors have never been replaced so I got one for front position. Its in the back seat now. Oil filter is brand new. Fuel filter need to be replaced. Fuel pump seems great. What the hell else could it be. Please. I need some help wih this. I know you guys have suggestions. Should I get it on a dyno for diagnosis? I know this topic has been beat to death btu Ive tried every solution Ive found.

Help an audi brother out.

Once I get this taken care of, and replace the rear diff mount(in the mail), ill be smooth as silk. Until then then, *grits teeth*.

Default I thought thats what it was also, boost leak, but Ive checked twice at dealer and shop...

I fixed a PCV system leak. Problem existed before leak and after. Its not getting worse, which is a good sign i suppose.

Default If it says anything about a misfire on cylinder #x, chances are it's a failed/failing coilpack...

I know that failed coilpacks are more of a B6 thing, but they can happen on a B5 as well.

I'm posting this because I've had the same symptom (hesitation) as you for the last 3 weeks (our setups are comparable as well) and no CEL. Codes revealed that there was a misfire on cyl. 3. Once I replaced the coilpack the car woke up.

Just throwing out some ideas...

Default Toronto, Canada.

Yup, coilpacks seem to fail regularly (on the B6 at least). My car blew 3 of them up already since I went K04 in July, 2006. The good thing is that they are relatively inexpensive.

Oh and I second the need for a VAG-Comm. It should be one of the first mods if you're set on modding the car at all. That being said, I still need to buy one as well.
