Leather seats discolored by rubber - how to clean?
My car has leather (not leatherette) beige seats. When I was transporting tires in the back seat a while back one of them was touching the back of the front seat and left a black mark on the leather. I tried many leather and general cleaners but nothing is able to remove this mark. Can I use something stronger to clean the area without damaging the leather itself?

use a tissue next time
I have some +7pH (neutral) stuff that I use all over my leatherette, dash, wheel, tires, etc. that comes in a concentrate. I water it down as necessary to the application and put it in a spray bottle. It's from Ardex, a philly manufacturer of Automotive detailing products, called something like All Purpose Green.
If you're local to PA, pick up some. If not, try watering down a little Automotive Simple Green, since it's a mild decreaser, in a water bottle with a clean sponge and use it on an area that you can't see (just in case). If it doesn't work, up the concentrate of Green until it comes out.
