At my dealer the lead time for a service appointment is even longer than a month -- up to six weeks -- if you want a loaner. It's a couple weeks without a loaner. So you have to make it clear when you make the appointment whether you need a loaner. I've never known any dealer that would provide a loaner without advance notice. So I'm wondering if you asked in advance. If you did, and then they stiffed you when you showed up on the appointed day, that's totally unacceptable service.
