I have a USB cable and Lemmiwinks only has settings for com ports...

Any solutions to that ?

my lappy has no com ports..

I have had several problems with that at work and I have yet to get a vag-com working over an usb-serial converter.

with it, I have also found on ross-tech info about setting the com driver to a diffirent USB port.

If you bought it with the usb converter built in, they probably gave you a compatible tool with the right drivers. If you do the conversion on your own, you might end up pulling your hair out trying to figure out why it wouldn't work.

The USB-HEX-CAN cable is a true USB device and no com simmulation is performed in the drivers
