i thought i mention that i ordered myself a nice lisle made plier to do the clamps on cv joints or any other ear type clamps.
all i have to say that this tool is definitely a much more sturdier tool that the autozone rental that i had and broke.
the plier has slots for a torque wrench to be used as an extension ensure the perfect torque being applied to the clamp. i spend 19.20$ shipped brand new on ebay for the one.
